What You'll Do:
As PTS Technician you will be transfering manufacturing protocols to out production plant and provide ongoing support and solutions for new product development and manufacturing. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life, working closely with R&D, manufacturing, QA, QC and PM.
Your work will enable business growth by cultivating a culture and commitment to operational excellence and process improvement, scaling-up new products considering targeted cost, quality and timelines, supporting the plants and advancing process technologies.
What We're Looking For:
Perform all tasks related to Process technology for Actives obtained by fermentation. Evaluate robustness of a manufacturing protocols for a new product once design has been approved. Collaborate with R&D, Quality departments and Product Management for successful and timely execution of scale-ups for new actives. Determine specifications (physical-chemical) of a product with reference to existing information. Create manufacturing protocols including instructions to produce the products in a routine manner using the existing assets in our manufacturing plant. Review and modify existing protocols to improve an existing manufacturing method. Work with external manufacturing partners for scale up and development of new products. Evaluate and adapt current available equipment for successful internalization of all new actives obtained by fermentation. Follow and comply all applicable policies, QA & HSES, including ISO 22716, ISO 9001, GMP and other internal standards
Skills That Make a Difference:
Degree in Chemical Engineering or Science, Master’s degree in Biotechnology or similar. 2 years’ experience in bioprocess technologies (fermentation in bioreactors, downstream processes). Effectively communicate (written and oral) with colleagues and external contacts in English, Catalan, and Spanish. Advanced level in English is mandatory. Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams. Willingness to travel. High level computer skills, mainly Office software Good communication skills and creative mind. Problem Solving Creativity.
