Position Overview

Job Description

I. Essential Duties:

Communicate with Cut Table Operators to receive order information needed to setup cut ordersApply the appropriate edge materials as needed, whether it be surging with yarn, binding, taping, etc.Print rug identification labels and iron onto the of each rugCheck for quality issues with rugs before sending to the packout areaWork in the packout area to rollup rugs onto cores or stack on pallets and wrap in plastic· Print shipping labels to apply to outside of packagingCommunicate with Lift Truck Operator or drive the lift truck to scan and load packages onto the trailer for shippingWork on R&D projects as needed to support the departmentPerform job duties inside and outside of the Rugs Department as needed to support plant operations

II. Non-Essential Duties:

General housekeeping dutiesCommunication well with management to address departmental needsMaintain the integrity and security of an array of sensitive and technical toolsPerform job duties in a safe mannerWork night, weekends and holidays when required to meet customer ordersActively participate in various committees

III. Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalentMust have good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsMust be able to work independently, without close supervisorComputer skills with current software experiencePrevious experience as Finishing Operator in Rugs Department preferredLTO Certification recommended but not required

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts PM
