Plant T1 | 2nd shift | Reclaim Operator IPosition Overview
Responsibilities:
Prioritize work as directed by Lead and Team Manager
Perform routine maintenance on equipment (i.e. changing dies, screens, etc.)
Test finished product for spec verification
Thorough understand of latex and pellet recipes
Operate latex mixer and compound extruder
Verify finished product transfer into proper location
Verify raw material identification based on recipe and location
Properly dispose of all process waste material
Identify and help resolve issues
Operate a lift truck to move materials within the department
Expected to serve as a member of a team, attend and actively participate in meetings (could be before or after shift) and work toward team goals
Participate in team building activities as planned.
Gain and maintain all necessary skills to perform jobs as assigned
Attend all training classes as scheduled for individual and team development
Assist in keeping the entire facility clean
Safely complete other assigned duties as needed
Requirements:
Walking up and down stairs is part of the requirements for this position.
This position will require standing, heavy and/or repeated lifting, bending, stooping, reaching overhead or crawling for long periods of time
Verbally communicate in English with team members about team needs and daily/weekly goals; participate in team meetings, provide feedback and contribute to team’s goals.
Pass color blindness test.
Successfully pass the LTO certification requirements
Pass a vision and depth perception test as required
Use computer systems and software as needed for the position.
Withstand changes in temperature and humidity.
Expected to be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Comply with all required OSHA, SAFE, and plant specific safety rules and regulations.
Preferred:
Previous experience in Latex and Extrusion Compounding
Proficient with computer systems
