Join us and build _your_ ambition. **Objective:** To supervise the safe and efficient operation of a concrete batch plant including concrete mixer drivers and plant maintenance to ensure delivery of quality product, timely delivery and customer satisfaction. This is a contract position covering a maternity leave. Scope: Volume: 20,000 m3 Staff: 5 employees Customers: 70+ of varying sizes and sophistication Tools: Command Concrete Dispatch software and Concrete Direct GPS system **Responsibilities:** 1. **Batching:** In a fast paced, customer oriented environment, responsible for scheduling concrete deliveries, providing pricing to customers, ordering raw material as required for production and ensuring accurate batching to produce a quality product to meet the customers' requirements. 2. **Health and Safety:** Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies. 3. **HR/Coaching & Mentoring:** Supervise drivers and maintain a positive work environment 4. **Environment:** Demonstrate a commitment to meet/exceed environmental compliance. 5. **Reporting:** Submit reports on time to area administer. Keep accurate records. 6. **Customer Service:** Communicate with customers, the Plant Manager and Sales Representative to ensure a positive customer experience and identify sales opportunities. 7. **Transportation & Logistics:** Creates efficient scheduling for routine maintenance, schedule jobs to ensure best use of fleet, effectively utilize maintenance programs to maximize plant up-time and manage costs. 8. **Administration:** Manage inventory of materials and products, physical inventory counts, order materials, ensure payroll is accurate. 9. **Operations Analysis and Action Tracking:** Track performance, establish effective action plans and continuously improve the operations.
