As a Master Scheduler, you will be responsible for ensuring the customer satisfaction by levelling the activity of the plant production floor, at the minimum stock level possible. You will be accountable for communicating with the customers, establishing and monitoring the master production schedule, preparing and implementing the sales and operations planning, managing the pool and safety stocks levels, and following up the delivery performance.
You will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the resources and processes, and to anticipate and resolve any issues related to engineering changes or mix changes.
The main missions of the role are:
o Analyze, understand, and anticipate the customer needs; ensuring that they are reflected in production activities
o Analyze customer Misdeliveries Per Million (MPM) in order to propose improvement action plans
o Define and optimise data gathering and exchange to ensure data integrity in systems
o Follow up the achievement of the customer delivery program by managing alerts and following up with the transportation and the delivery of pieces
o Prepare the Sales & Operations Planning (PIC) on a monthly basis in order to obtain proper volume levels and optimise resources (men, machines, materials and supplier readiness and capacity)
o Implement and drive the Master Production Schedule (PDP) to ensure a level production plan and make production line provisions for variations of customers demand
o Manage the pool and safety stocks levels
o Check that the sequencer and procurements are consistent with the PDP
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or something similar or equivalent experience in specific supply chain roles.
Experience:
o Experience in production in an industrial environment
o Experience managing material flow, scheduling, and stock flow is preferred
o Knowledge in Excel, SAP or another ERP system is preferred
Skills and competencies:
o Strong analytical and negotiation skills
o Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
o Proven ability to drive for results: work under pressure and meet deadlines
o Customer Focused: Delivery performance: customer MPM, Customer Backlog,
o Teamwork, respect, and agility will help this individual succeed
o Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
o Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management
