**Position Summary:**
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Plant Manager to lead operations at our Jackson, TN milling facility. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including safety, quality, grain handling, milling, and bulk finished product processes. The Plant Manager will drive operational excellence by developing and empowering staff, optimizing equipment and systems, and fostering strong interdepartmental and commercial relationships. This role requires a commitment to meeting and exceeding internal and external customer expectations while adhering to ADM’s highest standards.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Plant Manager will set the plant’s vision and goals in alignment with ADM Milling’s strategic objectives. This role demands exceptional leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Operational Leadership:**
+ Lead and develop operational staff to achieve plant objectives and uphold ADM standards.
+ Coordinate production schedules across all departments and product lines to ensure efficient operations.
+ Drive operational excellence initiatives, including Performance Excellence programs, to optimize yields, capacity, and product quality within budgetary parameters.
+ Champion plant-wide SOPs to ensure consistency and compliance.
+ Plan, execute, and oversee capital improvement projects, ensuring completion within scope, on time, and on budget.
+ Set, maintain, and facilitate the execution of KPIs, CAPAs, and plant performance measures to ensure plant-wide engagement and accountability.
**Health, Safety & Environmental:**
+ Ensure strict adherence to safety laws, regulations, policies, and best practices.
+ Develop and implement health and safety programs, policies, and procedures in collaboration with location management.
+ Conduct audits, prioritize corrective actions, and track completion of findings.
+ Investigate incidents using root cause analysis and implement preventative measures based on trends.
+ Maintain necessary health, safety, and environmental records and documentation.
+ Lead by example in promoting a culture of safety throughout the facility.
**Sanitation & Food Safety:**
+ Maintain world-class sanitation standards across the facility.
+ Communicate food safety, sanitation, and quality programs to supervisors and hourly employees.
+ Prepare the facility for regulatory, third-party, customer, and company audits, ensuring compliance and readiness.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration:**
+ Support external departments and cross-functional teams to meet the needs of the company, region, and plant.
+ Actively contribute to the Management Operating System to achieve production-related performance goals.
**Job Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Milling Science, or a related field strongly preferred; or minimum of 10 years of industry experience in plant management or milling operations.
+ Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and lead teams.
+ Strong problem-solving abilities and self-motivation to drive results.
+ Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
+ Commitment to employee safety and operational excellence.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a confident and courteous demeanor.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs and ladders, and work with tools.
+ Capability to work in confined spaces and extreme temperatures.
+ Must be able to hear, speak, read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$120,800.00 - $221,500.00
**Salaried Incentive Plan:**
The total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonus and a long-term incentive plan
