This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities:
Manages all operational aspects of a local manufacturing facility, including Production, Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Quality, and Operational Excellence. Responsible for achieving safety, quality, productivity, and cost-efficiency targets while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

You will be mainly accountable for:
Lead the execution of manufacturing strategies, customer-focused initiatives, and daily operations across manufacturing and assembly – Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) standards and drive continuous improvement in safety performance – Achieve high customer satisfaction by meeting delivery deadlines and quality (PPM) targets – Champion Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and cost/inventory management programs. – Support new product introductions and ensure seamless integration into operations.Own and manage plant-level Gross Margin and Net Working Capital performance – Meet or exceed financial targets (margin, NWC, conversion cost, inventory, headcount) through process improvements and new initiatives – Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. – Develop and manage the plant’s annual operating plan and capital expenditure budgets. – Lead Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes for the plant.Drive talent development, succession planning, and career growth through coaching and the PDA process – Maintain strong employee relations and implement labor strategies to ensure efficient operations – Foster a positive, high-engagement work environment and a culture of accountability.Lead cross-functional collaboration with product management, engineering, and manufacturing to drive profitable growth. – Collaborate with customer teams on demand forecasting and issue resolution – Operate effectively in global business environments and diverse cultural settings.Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor’s Degree Required; advanced degree preferred (Engineering, Mechanical, or Manufacturing) and minimum 8 years of progressive leadership experience, including 4+ years in manufacturing operations.Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop, implement, and document effective strategies.Willingness to travel; minimal travel required (approximately 10%).Preferred Experience Includes: Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP & Workday – Certified Lean Master or Six Sigma Black Belt – PMPCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.More about us:
