Provides leadership within, and continual development of the operations structure including but not limited to production and financial controls, plant security and safety, regulatory compliance, quality, facilities, and all manufacturing areas. Works cross-functionally to ensure consistency in operations and related strategies. Ensures large-scale projects are completed on time, on budget and meet specified quality standards, production requirements and goals.

Responsibilities Plans, develops and implements organization policies and goals. Coordinates activities of departments such as quality assurance, materials, manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, to effect operational efficiency and economy. Analyzes division or department budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made and allocates operating budget. Maintains close surveillance over manufacturing operations through perusal of reports, staff meetings, observations and personnel contact to assure coordination and integration of workflow, timely production, budgetary conformance, schedules, and utilization of personnel, skills, machines equipment and corrective procedures. Confers with administrative personnel and reviews active operating and sales reports to determine required changes in programs or operations. Directs and coordinates various programs essential to manufacturing procedures, such as training, safety, housekeeping, work implication, cost reduction, plant protection and security as it related to manufacturing areas. Plans and determines manpower and equipment requirements. Administers policies relative to company work rules. Performs other duties as assigned.  Qualifications

Job Skills Requirements 

Comprehensive knowledge of practices and procedures regarding production activities including efficiency levels and productivity standards. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively work with diverse groups of people. Technical experience and familiarity with all facets of manufacturing processes. Strong leadership and motivational skills and the ability to develop leadership qualities in others. Ability to coordinate and organize multiple projects simultaneously. Well-developed analytical skills and knowledge of analysis techniques that assist in report preparation for decision-making purposes. 

Educational Requirements 

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or related field required. 

Experience Requirements
