Position Overview

As Plant Manager, you will oversee all operations at our Atlanta facility, ensuring the safety, efficient, and cost-effective production of high-quality products. You’ll lead a culture of continuous improvement, drive operational excellence through TPM and HPWS, and serve as a key member of the Americas Supply Chain leadership team.

You will also represent McCormick within the local community and ensure compliance with all corporate, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop plant operations through strategic planning and execution. Drive performance improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and cost. Foster a culture of empowerment, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Ensure timely delivery of quality products and maintain strong customer/vendor relationships. Oversee compliance with GMPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Develop and manage annual budgets and long-term capital plans. Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies to eliminate losses and build capability. Lead plant-level initiatives aligned with McCormick’s Journey to Excellence (JTE). Build strong cross-functional relationships with Procurement, Planning, Finance, Logistics, Quality, Customer Service and more. Develop leadership talent and succession plans to support long-term growth.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 12 years of manufacturing experience, including 7+ years in a leadership role within a TPM or Lean environment. Strong background in food safety, GMPs, and regulatory compliance. Proven project management and strategic planning skills. Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and build strong relationships across all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Flexibility to support a multi-shift operation.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in High Performance Work Systems (HPWS) or self-directed work teams. Familiarity with SAP and modern manufacturing technologies. Background in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing industries.

Base Salary: $140-610-253,080

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Sales Incentive Bonus (SIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Dividend Program.
