**About the Role** As the  **Plant Maintenance Manager,**  you will be responsible for overseeing activities and staff in the management of the efficient maintenance of equipment at WM's newest Material Recover Facility (MRF) in North Dumphries. **What You’ll Do** + Lead a team of maintenance technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance management. + Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs. + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic equipment. + Ensures that equipment is repaired and returned to service in a safe and timely manner. + Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and upgrades. + Maintain CMMS data, parts inventory, and maintenance records. + Support startup and commissioning of new equipment. + Train and develop team members to build a culture of accountability, safety and high performance. + Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. + Responsible for planning, budgeting, staffing, discipline, and implementation of all maintenance initiatives and programs. + Promotes a safe work environment in compliance with Corporate and OHSA requirements. **What You Bring** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School/GED + 4 years). + 7+ years of maintenance experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory/leadership role. + Experience in industrial or manufacturing settings (waste/recycling is a plus) + Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems; especially related to conveyors, screens and optical sorters. + Red Seal, Millwright, or similar trade certification preferred. **Why Join Us?** + Be a part of WM's newest and most advanced Material Recovery Facility (MRF). + Help shape a safety-first, high performance maintenance culture. + Opportunities for career growth in a mission drier industry. **Benefits** At Waste Management, each eligible employee receives a competitive total compensation package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability.
