Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepare plans necessary for the design, purchase, installation, qualification, & modification of assets specific to our building and utility infrastructure systems.Recommend capital investments driven by equipment performance and business need, and drive the commissioning, qualification, and validation of all associated equipment, utility or building projects.Prepare project drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with OSHA, other federal, state, local, 3rd party, and internal regulations.Communicate project status and results to business stakeholders.Work with peers, Reliability Engineers, DE, CI Leader, Value Stream Managers, Supervisors, ME’s, and Techs, to ensure that projects are aligned with business and departmental objectives.Comply with the management of change policy (MOC) for all changes associated with projects, ensuring all relevant documentation and communication to stakeholders is generated, updated, and maintained.Assist in performing and participate in Failure Mode Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and/or Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to aid in the design of reliable Equipment and Systems.Assist in the development of asset maintenance plans, and work with internal tradesmen or 3rd party contractors, ensuring that work is completed in a timely manner consistent with quality requirements.Assist in the development of operating procedures, work instructions, and provide technical support or assist in the training of Operations and Maintenance personnelAbility to travel domestic/international (for two weeks at a time) up to 25%Required Minimum Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree required in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred. Chemical or Industrial is acceptable.Secondary training and certifications for LEED OM and/or Project Management a plus.Skills and Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience working with industrial buildings, utilities, and equipment.Previous experience managing capital projects involving equipment, facility installations, modifications, and construction.Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirement.Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design softwareAbility to effectively partner and coordinate work across multiple functionsStrong communications and collaboration skillsJob Environment:
