Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Plant Engineer to manage and lead multiple projects within our manufacturing facilities, including oversight of equipment installation and facility improvements. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of assessing production capabilities, identifying bottlenecks, and ensuring weekly production plans are met while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

ResponsibilitiesManage project scope, budget, and schedule for primary site and potential warehouse locations, ensuring alignment with customer and stakeholder specifications.Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, including the installation of purchased equipment and facility improvements.Complete project closeout, ensuring documentation and records are current and easily retrievable.Lead a team responsible for planning and continuous improvement, ensuring consistency with local and corporate standards.Assess current production capabilities, identify bottlenecks, and mitigate potential risks to avoid disruptions in production.Coordinate resources to analyze and resolve production issues, implementing and evaluating corrective actions.Provide direction, leadership, and coaching to operational and project teams, conducting risk assessments and developing contingency plans.Assist in implementing quality control measures, conduct root cause analyses, and develop strategies to enhance product quality.Spearhead the integration of new technologies to enhance production processes.Develop cost reduction initiatives through careful analysis and optimization of processes.Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety policies.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of one year of work experience, or a minimum of five years of progressive job experience with leadership and influencing skills.Engineering experience in a manufacturing plant, ideally in food and/or beverage.Strong technical, analytical, and project management skills.Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams.Proficiency in project management related tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsAutocad proficiency is beneficial.Experience in beverage manufacturing is advantageous.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $87378.00 - $102797.00/yr.
