Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesEssential responsibilities and duties
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Conduct variance analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitor and analyze plant expenses and cost drivers.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate financial policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes.
• Reporting to: Plant Controlling Manager
Key roles and responsibilities
• Collaborate with operations and production teams to improve financial performance
• Support the Plant Controller in financial decision-making
• Provide financial insights to support plant management
• Assist in the implementation of cost-control measures
Qualifications:
• Strong accounting knowledge.
• Fluent in Japanese.
• Limited English proficiency is acceptable; candidates can improve their language skills on the job.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience:
• No prior experience in controlling required, but relevant coursework or internships are beneficial.
• Any relevant experience, such as internships or part-time roles in accounting or finance.
