As the local expert in digital transformation, you plan and organize cross-functional project teams and develop plans to execute strategies to meet business needs. You use your technical foundation and knowledge of the local strategy to drive digital transformation.

How you will contribute

In collaboration with cross-functional partners, you will help develop and execute the local digitalization agenda and lead initiatives according to agreed priorities. You will help deploy capital digitalization projects, ensuring they stay on budget, with senior supply chain leaders. In addition, you will work with local engineering teams with digitalization projects and topics, monitor project progress during project development and participate in optimization efforts, incorporating feedback learnings for general adaptation for other engineering teams. You will also participate in a digital community of practice, contributing your expertise. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate your knowledge of your technological area of expertise and develop more in-depth technical knowledge and demonstrate your highly refined influencing and presentation skills.

What you need to know about this position:

To provide functional support to install, repair and maintain precision equipment and keep production running. The position requires broad knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, Instrumentation, PLCs, and machine repair practices and techniques.

Troubleshoot and implement software changes to Allen Bradley Compact and Control Logix platform of PLC’sSoftware changes to man/machine graphical interface system, including Panel view and similarWorking with and troubleshooting machines electronicsSupport new machine builds, installations, modifications and support with process lines reactive and preventative maintenance.Suggest and implement improvements to manufacturing/internal processes, information and procedures. Take advantage of all cost reduction opportunities. Implement process Instrumentation solutions reduce cost in the production lines.Establish and maintain effective communications with production, quality, engineering, safety and vendorsParticipate in ongoing cross training activities within the organizationEstablish and follow up project implementation as needed; including timing, concept, feasibility design, specifications, construction and commissioning as requiredFollow and comply with all IL6S principles and philosophiesProven record of making improvements to your areaCoordinate Utilities maintenanceEnsure reliability of Automated Control System, Design and commissioning of Allen Bradley PLC architecture,Coordinate calibration of Measuring and Monitoring Equipment

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechatronic / Electronic / Electrical).
