Together, let's build a brighter, healthier future for all. **Job Summary (with AI & Digital enhancements):** The Plant Analytical Lab Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the analytical laboratory within the plant, ensuring timely and accurate testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. This role ensures compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards while leading continuous improvement activities—including the adoption of AI and digital technologies to enhance laboratory efficiency—and supporting production needs. Additional responsibilities include complaints management, supplier quality, OSQ, mock recovery exercises, KPI reporting, leveraging data analytics, and supporting shop floor training and documentation through digital platforms. **Key Responsibilities (with suggested AI & Digital details):** + Coordinate and monitor daily lab activities, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards, by utilizing digital dashboards and workflow tools + Supervise routine and non-routine analytical testing using appropriate laboratory techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, FTIR, titration, etc.), + Ensure accurate, complete, and timely recording of test results. Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and AI-powered data validation tools for review and approval of laboratory data and reports + Maintain and update laboratory SOPs, work instructions, and test methods in compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines + Maintain compliance with internal procedures, GMP/GLP, ISO, and external regulatory requirements, monitoring this through automated compliance tracking software + Participate in internal and external quality and safety audits and support corrective action implementation + Manage calibration, maintenance, and qualification of laboratory instruments and equipment + Manage laboratory consumables inventory, reagents, and supply procurement + Review, approve and ensure accuracy of test results and related documentation + Train and mentor laboratory analysts and technicians on procedures, safety and quality requirements + Lead or support investigations and root cause analyses for out-of-specification or non-conformance results + Manage and coordinate complaints management processes, including investigation, documentation, and resolution of product quality issues + Drive supplier quality management, including evaluation, qualification, performance monitoring, and resolution of supplier quality issues + Plan and lead mock recovery exercises to ensure readiness and compliance with product recall requirements + Compile and report quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including lab performance, complaint trends, audit outcomes and quality improvements + Support shop floor training activities by providing mandatory quality trainings to operations personnel and ensuring competency + Collaborate with production, engineering, R&D, and other teams on quality-related projects and problem-solving + Support continuous improvement initiatives in the lab and across the site’s Quality Management System, promoting the adoption of AI and digital solutions + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment **Required Qualifications (with digital skills addition):** + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science, or related scientific disciplines + Minimum 3 years’ experience in a quality laboratory or quality assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment + Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, etc.) + Strong knowledge of quality systems, documentation practices, and regulatory standards (GMP, GLP, ISO, etc.) + Fluency in English + Excellent organizational, written, communication, and problem-solving skills + Experience working in cross-functional teams + Good knowledge of MS Office, Google tools, and experience with digital lab management systems + Ability to lead, supervise, and train laboratory personnel, including the use of digital training platforms + Experience with complaints management, supplier quality, shop floor training, documentation control, audits, and root cause analysis preferred **Preferred Qualifications (enhanced):** + Experience in a manufacturing or plant environment. + Familiarity with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) or quality management software + Experience with regulatory audits and external customer or supplier audits + Experience with statistical quality control and performance measurement is a plus **Perks Of Role** • International Working Environment • Shuttle Services (From Anatolian Side of Istanbul and Kuruçeşme on the Izmit side) • Comprehensive Medical/Life insurance coverage • 24/7 Employee Assistance Program **Disclaimer - Interested candidates are requested to upload their resumes drafted in English language only.** \#LI-KS1 **Our Commitment to Inclusion** Our journey begins with our people—developing strong talent with diverse backgrounds and perspectives to best serve our consumers around the world and fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels a true sense of belonging.
