As the Plant Accountant, you will be the financial business partner for our Highlands, Texas location.  You are the steward of the operation’s financial well-being.  You perform key accounting activities and ensure the site’s business transactions are fast, accurate, and compliant while being vigilant to identify improvement opportunities.

You Will:

Lead the budgeting, forecasting, planning, costing, and reporting cycles for the siteResponsible for the Plant’s compliance with the Company’s accounting policies and proceduresWork with Plant Leadership to develop action plans to achieve targetsControl the monthly physical inventory and valuation process, as well as the perpetual inventory control systemUse your research and analysis skills to identify & report negative impacts to the P&L along with recommendations for improvementServe as subject matter expert to the site regarding financial matters and act as the liaison between the site and Corporate Accounting

You Have:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance  A minimum of 2 years accounting experience, preferably in manufacturingWorking knowledge of costings, AP/AR, forecasting and budgeting, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliationWorking knowledge of GAAPERP system experience, preferably SAP
