Our Technical Operations team comprises aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams, ensuring they’re well-equipped and ready to transport our customers to their desired destinations. Key Responsibilities:

As a Planning Specialist – Project Control, you will work cross-functionally with teams in Planning, Engineering, and Supply Chain to develop and execute strategic plans for engineering-driven maintenance projects. Your ability to combine technical knowledge with data-driven insights will be essential in driving continuous improvement, ensuring regulatory and reliability goals are met, and enabling on-time project delivery.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop, implement, and manage detailed project plans for engineering maintenance initiativesCollaborate with Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to coordinate the execution of maintenance projectsTrack key metrics and milestones to ensure timely project completion and performanceConduct data mining, modeling, and visualization to uncover insights and drive decision-makingPresent analytical findings to stakeholders and recommend strategies to enhance project outcomesPerform cost-benefit and impact analyses to inform planning and prioritization decisionsSupport continuous improvement efforts across project planning processes

Location Schedule:This role is based at the CSC – Willis Tower in Chicago, IL, and follows ahybrid work schedulewiththree days per week in-office (subject to change)

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

Bachelors degree or 4 years of relevant experience in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain, Business, or Aviation3 years of experience in project planning, strategy, or a similar role3 years of experience managing cross-functional projectsKnowledge of aircraft systems, structures, or maintenance programsProficiency in data analysis and quantitative modeling (statistical, optimization, simulation, Excel-based modeling, etc.)Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skillsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and levelsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentCreative, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindsetMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipReliable and punctual attendance is an essential function of the roleSuccessful completion of the interview process

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

· Master’s degree, MBA, or advanced coursework in Engineering, Math, or Statistics

· Project Management (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma certification

· Experience in airline planning or technical operations analysis

· Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, or Power BI
