Evaluate contractor’s payment applications and prepare interim payment certificates. Track and control project cost against the budget. Manage and assess variations and change orders. Develop and maintain the project master schedule using software like Primavera P6 or MS Project. Monitor the progress of works against the schedule and identify potential delays or bottlenecks. Conduct look-ahead planning (weekly/monthly) and reporting. Coordinate with contractors and consultants to align the schedule with actual site progress. Analyze and report on schedule variance and critical path. Suggest and monitor catch-up or recovery plans when there are delays. Liaise between the client, contractor, consultants, and stakeholders. Attend site meetings and progress reviews. Prepare progress reports, cost reports, and dashboards for the client. Assist the Project Manager in decision-making by providing timely cost and schedule data. Identify cost and time risks and suggest mitigation measures. Conduct value engineering exercises to improve cost efficiency without compromising quality. Understanding project specifications and developing time schedules and budgets that meet them. Delegating tasks and ensuring workers receive feedback. Understanding and meeting all contract requirements. Communicating with managers, supervisors, and the rest of the team. Analyzing technical drawings and providing material and cost estimates. Ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budgets.
