A little about the position:
Job Summary
The Production Scheduler leads assigned Plant production and shipping scheduling process to meet customer (builder) needs. The position reports to the Plant Manager, and closely coordinates with Order Management, Production and Shipping teams to manage customer needs. The position will work closely with Inventory Management Coordinator & Buyer to assist with managing inventory and stocking levels and prepare forecasts for material purchasing needs.
Some of What You Will Do:
+ Validate demand with internal team prior to scheduling
+ Develop and coordinate daily/weekly/monthly production schedules in order to support customer requirements
+ Generate work ticket and traveler, and/or serial numbers and bar codes for production based off schedule
+ Develop and coordinate daily/weekly/monthly outfitting schedules in order to support customer requirements
+ Work with Inventory Management Coordinator & Buyer to manage site stocking plan
+ Work with Inventory Management Coordinator & Buyer to review and coordinate inventory control processes and procedures with operations group to ensure system inventory accuracy. This would include comprehensive cycle count procedure.
+ Work with Inventory Management Coordinators & Buyers for both Plainfield & Utah facilities to monitor and review corporate inventory on all identified product lines and complete inter-divisional transfers of goods as required
+ Confer with appropriate employees to provide and coordinate critical information to support on-time delivery of customer requirements
+ Lead daily Production meeting, and weekly Production & Scheduling meeting
+ Perform other duties as assigned
+ What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)

+ Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3+ years experience in ERP systems or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Ability to make timely decisions while including appropriate people in decision-making process
+ Adapt to change in the work environment by dealing with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
+ Proficient with Excel
+ Ability to work overtime when necessary, including weekends
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
+ Detail oriented

Exposure to dust, odors/fumes, variations in weather conditions and noise is typical.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
