Planning Manager - Liquid/Bottling & Field

In this role, you will lead the strategic planning of Tequilas availability, ensuring that our production operations never come to a standstill. You will develop and manage raw material planning with a short and medium-term vision, ensuring that every bottle of Tequila & Ready to Drink meets the highest quality standards. In addition, you will manage the master production plan for the bottling area, optimizing operational efficiency and ensuring Overall Equipment Effectiveness targets are met. Casa Herradura, prepare the Strategic Planning Plan which starts from agave plantations all the way to delivering the bottled Tequila as finished goods. The comprehensive planning process includes the following areas; agave planting, the production of Tequila, maturation and Tequila and Ready to Drink's bottling processes. The main goal of the planning function is to meet short-term demand (APO) and long-term (Tequila Supply Demand Plans) demand expectations. **Meaningful Work From Day One** Direct, plan and guarantee the availability of Tequila based on short, medium, long term forecasts and requirements, ensuring the operational continuity of the production areas. Develop the material raw planning based on annual forecast and coverage policies, as well direct the master production schedule for the bottle area, guaranteeing the Overall Equipment Effectiveness established. All this, complying with the quality, safety and environmental standards established by the organization, as well as promoting B-F values. **What You Can Expect** + Manage Tequila, Ready to Drink & Co Packing volumes ensuring timely delivery to the Market for short and Medium terms based on Commercial demand and APO. + Maintain timely forecast reception from México and US Supply Chain Demand Planners, analyzing to validate and be realistic, as well as detect trends to ensure delivery to the Market. + Develop the planning of planting/harvest agave aligned with LT (TSDP) planting & ST(APO) harvest connection. Considering the technical variables like %ART, weight Average of Agave and others. + Ensure that liquid is available on time when needed for Tequila & Ready to Drink, and monitor liquid production to ensure proper operation. Based on TSDP's long term plan and APO's medium term projections, the plan for mill and distillation of tequila by factory. Consider the Key technical variables like %ART, weight Average of Agave and others. + Develop and execute the Bottling planning strategy, ensuring the Master Bottling Schedule requirement plan depending on the forecast and sales needs, consider balances on the short, medium and long term demands vs line capacity, ensure the stock of Packaging Materials and ensure their timely delivery. + Ensure the balance of production in all Bottling/Distilling/Maduration/Field processes of Casa Herradura according to the short, medium and long term demand. + Manage the consolidation and ST (APO) vs LT (TSDP) connection (high level planning view), from the agave to the bottle. + Maintain a high level of partnership and collaboration with México and US Supply Chain Demand Planners, the Field leaders, Ready to Drink & Bottling leaders, finance team, Maintenances, Distillery/Maturation and the purchasing team to be aligned sourcing strategy, and timely communication of risks and needs with them as well as with corporate stakeholders to ensure compliance with production plans and inventory policies. **What You Bring to the Table** + Strategic thinker to understand the overall business business needs and connect a comprehensive planning with the overall business strategy. + Ability to respond in a timely and effective manner to multiple inquiries from a variety of internal and external stakeholders. + Demonstrated solid understanding of the tools needed to extract insights for analysis. + Ability to work under strict time constraints to meet departmental objectives. + Certification in Planning & Inventory or Supply Chain Professional. + Experience with SAP. + Inglés: Advanced **What Makes You Unique** Have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related career. At least 5 years of experience in positions related to production management, control and monitoring of production, inventory and warehouse programs. At least Five years of experience supervising direct reports. Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing groups and major projects or initiatives. Strong interpersonal skills; able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization. Ability to manage and complete assigned workload within established deadlines and to constantly seek new improvement ideas. Ability to work under tight time constraints to meet departmental goals.
