About the Role
We are seeking a Planning Lead to drive media strategy and proposal development in partnership with our sales teams. This role is responsible for crafting data-driven media plans and aligning audience insights with advertiser objectives.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with expertise in audience segmentation, media planning, and sales enablement, ensuring that clients receive tailored solutions that maximize impact.
Key Responsibilities
Audience-Based Media Strategy & Planning
Develop customized audience strategies utilizing first-party, second-party, and third-party data.
Partner with sales teams to translate client objectives into data-driven media plans.
Leverage 1st party audience as part of client plans to build audience segments for activation.
Work cross-functionally with measurement, insights, and product teams to refine audience targeting approaches.
Proposal Development & Sales Enablement
Craft compelling, insight-driven media proposals that align with advertiser goals.
Support sales teams by translating complex data capabilities into actionable media recommendations.
Develop scalable playbooks and case studies to drive adoption of audience-based offerings.
Collaborate with external partners, agencies, and tech vendors to enhance data-driven offerings.
Collaboration & Thought Leadership
Work closely with internal teams, including product, marketing, insights, measurement, and commercial teams to align on best practices for audience-based planning.
Stay ahead of industry trends in data privacy, identity resolution, and programmatic media.
Provide training and guidance to sales teams on the benefits of clean rooms and audience
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in digital media, particularly in media planning
Strong understanding of data clean rooms (e.g., AWS Clean Rooms, Snowflake, Google PAIR, LiveRamp Safe Haven, Habu, InfoSum).
Expertise in audience segmentation, media planning, and programmatic buying.
Ability to distill complex data strategies into simple, actionable sales recommendations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in client-facing roles.
Familiarity with industry regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and privacy-first audience targeting approaches.
