Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Planning Engineer to join our team in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. As a Planning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects by developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Develop, monitor, and control project schedules using advanced planning softwareCreate and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for various projectsConduct cost and schedule variance analyses to ensure project efficiencyImplement Earned Value Management (EVMS) methodologies to track project performanceAnalyze manpower, labor hours, and costs against budget limitationsPerform Time Impact Analysis to assess schedule changes and delaysCollaborate with project managers and team members to align project goals and timelinesPrepare and present detailed project reports for stakeholdersIdentify potential risks and develop mitigation strategiesContribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and toolsSupport the development of project baselines using drawings and specificationsAssist in trend analysis and forecasting to optimize project performance

QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and controlsAdvanced knowledge of ORACLE Primavera P6 Project Management SoftwareProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelStrong understanding of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and cost/schedule variance analysisExperience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) methodologiesFamiliarity with project trend analysis, contract changes, and claims managementKnowledge of Time Impact Analysis techniquesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational abilitiesEffective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentExperience in construction or infrastructure projects is preferred
