Planning Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of project schedules, resource planning, and ensuring timely project execution. + Prepare and update the project schedule based on the contract from receiving of the PIAD to commissioning. + Set work program and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan. + Monitor critical activities based on the project schedule and advise project management. + Prepares and submits updated work program and cash flow curve showing actual progress and identifies areas of weakness and establishes means and methods for recovery, if any, as well as new critical activities. + Monitor day-to-day work progress and prepare the weekly and monthly program and report. + Maintain and record updates of site work progress obtained from the Project Manager. + Prepares monthly report reflecting work progress summary. + Report to the Project Manager about the current work progress make a comparison between the plan and actual progress and study the impact of alternative approaches to work. + Participate in project meetings and discussions with the Client as required. + Assists in preparing work program, cash flow, and manpower histogram for tenders. + Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time. + Excellent knowledge of earned value management (EVM), risk analysis, and delay analysis. + Familiarity with international project management standards and best practices (PMI, AACE). + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple project timelines simultaneously. + Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams. + Bachelor’s degree in electrical or civil engineering from a recognized university. + Minimum of 6+ years of experience in project management and planning for large-scale engineering projects, ideally within the water transmission or water network project-related sectors. + Strong proficiency in Primavera (P6) for project planning, scheduling, and resource management. + PMP (Project Management Professional) or PSP (Project Scheduling Professional) certification is preferred. + Proven track record in planning and scheduling for high-voltage transmission lines, substations, and related infrastructure. **Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.** ​ Join our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
