We have an immediate need for a Planning Engineer at our aerospace location in Rockford, ILL. The primary focus of this role is to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing or industrial processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
Analyze production workflows, identify bottlenecks, and develop solutions using engineering principles and data analysis. This includes tasks like creating process specifications, selecting equipment, and monitoring system performance.Developing and refining processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with industry standardsLeading initiatives to implement new technologies, refine existing methods, and enhance production workflows. Working closely with production teams, quality assurance, and management to ensure smooth operations. Ensuring that all processes adhere to safety regulations and environmental standards. Using software to simulate processes and identify potential bottlenecks or improvements.Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical, or petroleum engineering.Basic computer skills and practical application of software programs.Ability to contribute in a team environment.Effective communication skills in both oral and written form, including technical writing.Ability to think analytically and solve fundamental problems.Efficient in using Microsoft Office Excel, teams, project, pivot tables. Understanding and ability to identify a large scope project and report potential issues with in the process.Due to the nature of the job, you must be a US Citizen
