Planning and Scheduling Engineer
We are currently engaged in landmark infrastructure project in Riyadh. To support effective project delivery, we are looking for a qualified Planning and Scheduling Engineer with solid Middle East and PMO experience. The Planning and Scheduling Engineer will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining detailed project schedules across all phases of the infrastructure program. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of project controls, excellent Primavera P6 skills, and prior experience supporting major programs within a Program Management Office (PMO) structure. + Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6. + Establish and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), critical path schedules, and milestone tracking. + Coordinate with project managers, design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of schedule activities. + Integrate cost and schedule data for earned value management (EVM) and performance reporting. + Support project planning workshops and risk reviews. + Analyze progress updates, identify schedule variances and recommend recovery actions. + Assist in preparation of project reports including dashboards, look-aheads, and delay analysis. + Ensure alignment with PMO protocols, client reporting templates, and planning standards. + Monitor the impact of design and construction changes on overall schedule and update baseline accordingly. + Provide planning support during procurement, contract award, and construction execution phases. + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. + Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling, particularly on infrastructure projects in the Middle East. + Experience working in a PMO or PMC environment is essential. + Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel. + Strong knowledge of planning principles, scheduling techniques, and delay analysis. + Familiarity with earned value management (EVM), KPIs, and performance reporting tools. + Excellent communication and coordination skills. + Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
