About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced production planning manager that also wants to develop within production and lead a team of 30 people including assemblers, team leaders, production engineers as well as the production planning team. Your mission is to ensure that the team achieves its goals in delivery, quality, and safety, while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment but also improving the planning process and implementing automation tools. 

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

Set and communicate departmental goals.

Lead and distribute work within the production section.

Ensure team welfare, engagement, and a positive work environment.

Conduct employee appraisals, set goals, and assess performance.

Coach and provide feedback to team members.

Operational Excellence:

Drive continuous improvements in line with the Danderyd Operations Lean Program.

Measure and follow up on set goals.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and take preventive measures against workplace accidents/incidents.

Communicate changes effectively and ensure team alignment.

Budget & Resource Management:

Participate in budget work and propose departmental budgets.

Manage resource planning and competence development within the department.

Conduct recruitments and ensure necessary competence is available.

Process Improvement:

Develop and refine processes and working methods within the department and Production.

Lead teams during stoppages and deviations affecting delivery or other goal fulfillment.

Ensure adherence to processes, work instructions, and assembly instructions established.

Production Planning:

Develop, implement and monitor production plans to ensure that goods are produced in the right quantity and quality and delivered on time.

Capacity Planning: Analyze production capacity and resource needs to optimize the production flow.

Forecasting Process: Be responsible for the forecasting process and ensure improvement, development and reliability over time.

Buffer Process: Manage the buffer process and ensure that the entire E2E flow has the right capacity to handle decided buffers.

Improvement work: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs in planning and production processes

Automize the production planning process through implementation of technical tools and programs.

About You:

Skills & Experience:

Proven leadership skills with at least 3-5 years of experience in production, preferably in a leadership position..

You have several years of experience in production and delivery planning, preferably in the manufacturing industry. You have strong technical skills in production planning systems, ERP (for example Oracle) and production planning systems, as well as analytical skills to interpret production data and optimize scheduling.

Engineering education or equivalent technical experience.

Strong interest in people, technology, and group dynamics.

Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.

Proficient in computer skills (e.g., Google Workspace, MS Office).
