Planner / Scheduler - F-16 Contract Logistics Support (CLS) – Foreign Military Sales (IRAQ)
**Description** **Major Job Activities** Key Responsibilities: + 25% - Train, advise, assist, and integrate IqAF personnel in the development and execution of maintenance plans and schedules. + 20% - Create and manage weekly, monthly, and long-term aircraft maintenance schedules using technical data and fleet status. + 15% - Coordinate with functional leads and shops to ensure schedule feasibility and minimize aircraft downtime. + 10% - Track job completion, update maintenance databases, and produce performance and compliance reports. + 10% - Ensure proper documentation and reporting of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events. + 10% - Recommend improvements to scheduling processes to increase efficiency and mission alignment. + 10% - Support Site Management with planning briefings and aircraft availability tracking. **Material & Equipment Directly Used** Aircraft scheduling software, maintenance tracking systems, technical orders, Microsoft Office Suite. **Working Environment** Deployed maintenance operations environment; interface with hangar, flight line, and planning office conditions. **Physical Activities** Working in office and maintenance planning spaces; movement across flight line and maintenance areas. **Qualifications** Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional planning or logistics training preferred. Certifications: USAF 7-skill level (Craftsman) in aircraft maintenance or logistics equivalent preferred. Experience: 8 to 8 to 10 years experience with F-16 aircraft maintenance planning and scheduling. Other Requirements: U.S. Citizenship required; eligible for Secret clearance; experienced in international work environments; must be capable of worldwide deployment including all Middle East countries.
