Planner (RRJV)

We currently have an opportunity for a Planner to join our team. This position will support the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV), which is a 50/50 joint venture between Downer and CPB Contractors to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities.

 

We are seeking candidates who have the ability to obtain a Defence Security Clearance to be part of our team on the redevelopment project, covering the Albury Wodonga Military Area, Blamey Barracks (Kapooka) and the RAAF Base Wagga.

 

What You’ll Do

The role involves preparing and planning work packages to ensure the successful delivery of the program or works. Key responsibilities include analysing project specifications and drawings, preparing and revising construction schedules, coordinating with designers, engineers, and contractors, monitoring project progress, and providing updates to management. 

Additional responsibilities outlined below:

Prepare and maintain the Project delivery program requirements.Provide all program information to update the 4D model.Program all Authorities requirements and attend meetings as required.Provide strategic advice on the impact of design changes to the programmed activities.Provide dashboard reports on specific key trade data to support monthly reporting.Evaluate subcontractor Claims (EoT) and support the Commercial Team.Attend all planning meetings and provide mark ups and drawings to evaluate and review programs.

 

What You’ll Bring

Ability to obtain a Defence Security clearance.Engineering degree and minimum Certificate III in power, project management or other relevant qualification.Computer skills in Primavera, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, GIS (I-View) MappingExtensive working knowledge of construction, maintenance, planning/scheduling work.An excellent understanding of budgeting, forecasting and cashflow preparation.An excellent understanding of HSEQ issues as they relate to planning.
