Envista Holdings Corporation
**Job Description:**
Plans and follows up on the requirements of the ORMCO areas, in accordance with the client's needs.
**Job Requirements:**
+ Reviews and analyzes the information in the system regarding the client's requirements and inventory to generate work orders. Confirms that the information on the orders is correct in terms of part numbers, quantities, start and due dates, and subsequently records them in production control files. Sends the work orders to be fulfilled.
+ Defines the sequence in which the work orders will be processed according to the client's requirements, ensuring a balanced production mix and based on the defined priorities. This ensures compliance with the delivery date for each work order, following the first-in-first-out rule, while also considering reports such as backorders, on-hand exceptions to sales order quantities, and shortage reports.
+ Ensures that work orders are supplied with materials. Once they are supplied, verifies that all information is correctly documented. Once documented, they are released to be sent to the production floor and are continuously tracked, expediting orders if necessary, until they are sent to the client and entered into the finished product inventory.
+ Creates purchase orders in the system (for the relevant product and process) based on information from production and system review. Once created, these are sent to the supplier for processing. Follow-ups are conducted to ensure deadlines are met and to address any subsequent issues regarding price and/or quantities. Maintains contact with the suppliers.
+ Prepares reports on WIP (Work in Progress), shipments, backorders, component shortages, finished product inventory, overdue orders on the production floor, external process follow-ups, and all other necessary reports to inform departments about the production area's status.
+ Creates and modifies work orders and, where necessary, purchase orders. Processes order movement transactions when required and makes adjustments if necessary. Maintains planning parameters such as lead times, waste factors, safety stock levels, lot sizes, etc.
+ Ensures that production has the necessary materials to meet production plans and also monitors the availability of other resources like machinery, cutting tools, and production supplies.
+ Reports to the Production Supervisor regarding volume, processing time, percentage of compliance with delivery dates, delayed orders on the floor, waste percentage, and the delivery of the production schedule.
