Job Description

This position offers a fast-paced and intellectually challenging environment where you will collaborate with leaders across various technology areas. You'll be tasked with minimizing overhead, streamlining processes, improving product quality, and reducing lead times. The role requires innovation and a drive to exceed current possibilities by creating systems that enhance production efficiency and flexibility.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate cross-functionally to develop and enhance production scheduling tools and WIP tracking.Develop strategies to address work order material discrepancies within production cells.Coordinate the scheduling, planning, and initial staging of materials and kits for production and testing.Monitor, track, and facilitate the movement of parts through production flows to ensure timely delivery.Coordinate the physical movement of parts from the warehouse through production resources.Ensure proper handling and protection of parts.Resolve immediate floor shortages on work orders in collaboration with planning teams.Maintain floor stock inventory as required with planning and production personnel.Facilitate electronic movement of parts through the MES system at transaction points.Ensure production personnel understand schedule and metric goals.Support logistics processes through innovative workflow staging as necessary.Manage material certifications to prevent use of uncertified parts.Assist production cells with work order management activities.Communicate part status and estimated completion dates to leadership weekly.Assist production leadership and project teams with action item updates.Develop and maintain reports to highlight needs, deliverables, and constraints for internal and customer use.Essential SkillsExperience with planning, ERP, MRP, MES, and SAP systems.Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.Background in manufacturing and inventory management.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate.Experience in a manufacturing or administrative environment.Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems.5+ years of experience handling parts in a manufacturing setting.Strong computer skills, particularly with SAP ERP/MES and MS Office products.Bachelor’s degree.Experience in organizing files and documents.Inventory experience.Experience in aerospace, military, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing environments.SQL experience.APICS certification.Work Environment

The position is onsite in Redmond. Details regarding shifts are to be determined.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
