Planner: Production - Caledon

An opportunity has become available for a Planner: Production to join the Prestige Clothing Caledon team.

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage production schedules to meet order deadlines Balance capacity vs. demand (machines, labor, material availability) Track progress and adjust plans to avoid bottlenecks Liaise between sales, procurement, and production teams Minimize idle time and ensure on-time delivery

Requirements and skills:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling principles. Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reporting Proven experience as a Production Planner, Scheduler, or in a similar supply chain/operations role Min 2-3 yrs. experience in a clothing manufacturing environment Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices is an advantage.
