Planner, Production Planning

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
As a Production Planner, you will support the execution of the PO management process, including purchase order creation, handling exceptions, and managing order change requests. You will collaborate with the Planning Team, Brand, and Vendors to ensure timely deliveries and provide accurate data to internal and external stakeholders.
This role requires strong analytical and relationship-building skills to drive decision-making and ensure process alignment across regions. You will also play a key role in identifying risks and opportunities, supporting continuous improvement, and acting as a change agent within the Product Supply and Supply Chain organization.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Execute PO management processes, including PO creation and change memo issuance
+ Analyze weekly exceptions and unconfirmed POs, taking action to resolve issues and maintain CRD dates
+ Collaborate with Global Material Supply, QA, and vendors to ensure on-time deliveries
+ Partner with VF Logistics and vendors to optimize delivery timelines
+ Monitor factory KPIs and maintain vendor scorecards
+ Support and elevate factory audit activities (where applicable)
+ Prepare detailed analytics and production tracking tools for visibility to Brand and Regions
+ Monitor Factory Ledger (where applicable) and ensure year-end balance settlement
+ Act as a change agent by building trust, communicating business objectives, and supporting management vision

+ Experience in planning, ideally with exposure to manufacturing or consumer goods (apparel, footwear, equipment)
+ Strong data analysis and forecasting skills

**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma with relevant experience
+ Preferred fields: Operations, Supply Chain, International Business
**WORKING CONDITIONS**
+ Travel: As required
+ Other conditions: May include evening/weekend work, shift work, or working with challenging clients depending on business needs
