ABOUT THE ROLE
As a full-scope Material Planner, you will be responsible for executing strategic planning activities for all Direct Source materials, including long-term strategic planning (multi-horizon), pre-/in-seasonal planning, forecast publication, and greige preposition strategy and execution. You will contribute to the development of raw material sourcing strategies, supplier capacity planning, and drive the seasonal supply planning process to maximize product availability.
You will also manage planning activities for all Nominated Source materials, including material prepositioning and supporting PO management processes to mitigate delays from Tier 2 suppliers. Additionally, you will track monthly consumption, manage leftover validation and reporting, and collaborate with brand stakeholders to explore leftover utilization opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute production planning activities for materials aligned with the go-to-market calendarPartner with cross-functional teams to design and execute material preposition initiatives to enable on-time performanceBuild strategic relationships with stakeholders across Asia Product Supply, Global Planning, and key suppliersAct as process owner for GMS policies and procedures impacting Global Product SupplyDrive policy changes and ensure proper implementation across Product Supply, Global Planning, and Regional OfficesLead initiatives to enhance agility within the sourcing organization and improve global supply planning processesEnsure strategy frameworks reflect actionable timelines and responsibilities from a supply base perspectiveCollaborate with Global Planning and Product Supply to achieve KPIs such as On-Time Performance and Buy Acceptance RatesSupport Quality, CSR, and other brand needsPrepare analytical reports and presentations to illustrate demand trends, risks, and opportunitiesAnalyze organizational performance (e.g., supplier KPIs), forecast risks, and resolve issues in collaboration with global functionsAct as a change agent across the Global Product Supply organization, building trust and communicating business objectives clearlyWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
