**Overview**
The Planner, Commerce will work as a member of a cross-functional team that is responsible for driving the e-commerce growth strategies to drive our client’s retail and omnichannel business. This position is both strategic and tactical in scope and requires the ability to apply detailed retail media and e-commerce knowledge to actionable insights, recommendations, and tactical planning. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is keen to join our team and help redefine ecommerce media.
**Responsibilities**
• Responsible for contributing to the development of and driving strategy for the functional area
• Develop media strategy and recommendations under supervisor guidance
• Present media plans and provide plan maintenance including objectives/strategies and updates
• Preparing, maintaining, and executing trafficking plans (prior experience preferred)
• Effectively communicate program status and progress against objectives to clients and commerce leads. Synthesizes relevant information on key milestones, success criteria, staff and client and risks. Escalate critical issues appropriately.
• Prepare flowcharts and budgets for media plan development and maintenance
• Prepare and issue buying specs and guidelines to buyers including delivery goals and budgets for use in negotiations
• Review and verify media buys to ensure proper execution
• Meet with vendor community to analyze value and applicability of media channels for client media plan

**Qualifications**
• 1+ years of experience in media planning/strategy
• Agency experience highly preferred
• Experience with trafficking, hands-on-keyboard campaign set up (Mediaocean Prisma experience preferred), billing, and reporting
• Understanding of traditional and interactive media planning elements
• Sound understanding and experience working in the commerce media landscape, ecosystems, and go to market strategies or a strong interest and willingness to learn
• Understanding of commerce-focused KPIs, such as ROAS
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Problem solver and strategic thinker that constantly challenges clients and teams to improve
• Curiosity and an eagerness to roll-up the sleeves to find the answers, learn, apply, and learn again.
• Diligent, good follow through, able to multi-task, and work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Meet client and internal deadlines and obligations
• Manage projects, resources, stakeholders, and participants
• Be a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems/issues

Compensation Range: $53,200 - $77,280 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
