We currently look for a Production Planner & Scheduler f/m based in Saint-Laurent-du-Pont (38).
Reporting to the Multibase Global Supply Chain Manager, the Production Planner & Scheduler serves as the key point of contact between the supply chain organization and the plant.
Production Planner & Scheduler builds and monitors the master production schedule and supply plan based on demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory targets. This role plays a pivotal role in detailed scheduling of production campaigns to meet delivery dates provided to customers while optimizing machines occupancy rate.
The position is based in our manufacturing site in Saint-Laurent Dupont, FRANCE.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Manage monthly and weekly production schedule
Manage the detailed schedule of production orders, considering technical and capacity constraints, ensuring product availability for on-time delivery to customers
Ensure the production schedule is continuously maintained and communicated throughout the supply chain
Highlight and actively participate in identifying and resolving gaps related to inventory, customer order, and quality issues
Work closely with the customer service (CSR), logistics team and procurement
Manage inter-company flows (STO) in coordination with planners from other sites/regions
Act as the main interface between manufacturing, sales teams, and customer service
Coordinate production planning with machines maintenance schedules
Provide product availability dates to customer service
Manage the supply of raw materials needed for production
Regularly analyze finished product and raw material stock levels to ensure they meet company objectives
Ensure planning parameters in SAP are updated and accurate
Monitor and improve key supply chain performance indicators, mainly: On Time Delivery, Adherence to Plan and Inventory turnover
Comply with procedures and working methods of the company in terms of ethics, quality and EHS standards
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree (bac+3) with a specialization in Supply Chain
At least 5 years of experience in production planning
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Office Suite) with a very good level in Excel
Strong mastery of SAP
Knowledge of reporting tools (BW, Power BI)
Knowledge of supply and logistics processes
Knowledge of products and industrial processes
Preferred:
A CPIM (APICS) certification is a plus
