Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Planeador/Comprador Sr..​ **What you’ll do:** **PRIMARY FUNCTION:** Monitor inventory and production items consumed in the plant to achieve short-term and long-term business objectives, overall responsibility for customer requirements, production control, on-time delivery, finished goods inventory level, and reorder point. Provides accounting support regarding the SIOP process to identify business continuity. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** **Key Responsibilities** - Monitor inventory transactions to ensure accurate and timely material processing. - Identify and communicate potential delays or issues that may impact customer delivery. - Create purchase orders and monitor material delivery schedules. - Troubleshoot MRP (Material Requirements Planning) exceptions and ensure ERP discipline aligned with SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning). - Lead material deviation processes related to quality, logistics, and discrepancies. **Inventory & Planning Management** - Review and manage shortage reports to ensure material availability. - Control inventory value and identify opportunities to reduce Excess and Obsolete. - Conduct monthly min/max analysis to prevent shortages or excess stock. - Maintain consignment levels and manage requests accordingly. - Evaluate and recommend adjustments to planning parameters such as lot size, lead time, and safety stock. - Ensure inventory items remain within defined min-max ranges. - Maintain control over excess and obsolete materials. - Review material and capacity requirements planning, along with logistics coordination. **Collaboration & Continuous Improvement** - Maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external customers. - Lead discussions with suppliers to prevent disruptions in plant operations. - Support the accounting department in improving key business metrics, processes, and controls. - Maintain and analyze sales reports to assess risk and support decision-making. - Perform other duties as required to support departmental and organizational goals. **Qualifications:** **Required (Basic):** - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. - Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain. - Minimum 2 years of experience in materials, sourcing, or purchasing. - Minimum 2 years of experience managing supplier relationships. - Bilingual English/Spanish **Preferred (optional):** - Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or Supply chain related field from an accredited institution. **Skills:** - Good understanding of ERP and MRP Systems - Drive for Results - Accountable - Passionate - Ethical - Builds Organizational Capability - Thinks and Acts Strategically **Additional Information:** **Engineering to Order (ETO) experience.** • Vendor Management relationships: ability to build and maintain the relationships ensuring reliable supply by assessing and identifying Risk. • Analytical Negotiation Skills; securing favorable terms. • Procurement Knowledge; sourcing, proposals, market data, performance metrics. • Familiarity with an ERP system is a must and Analysis Data. • Planificación de la continuidad de la cadena de suministro **Functional Competencies** • Capacity planning • Inventory management and optimization. • Demand management. • Order management. **ISO 14001: 2015** • Ensure that the operational controls applicable to your areas are carried out. • Follow up on questions from the personnel in their charge, a representative of the S.A.A. • Support compliance with and monitoring of the Environmental Policy. • Contribute to the achievement of the Environmental Objectives and Goals. • Support to maintain the S.A.A. for the care of the Environment. • Carry out the activities established in the Methods and Procedures of the S.A.A. • Understand the impacts of Environmental Aspects. • Carry out the provisions of the Operational Controls. \#LI-MM3 We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
