Job Responsibilities:  Performing Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) on building new DHS Enterprise NPE PKI, participating in DHS Configuration Operation Procedure Guideline (COPG) documentation update and other DHS policy updates, and providing technical support in the areas of PKI, ICAM, and Cloud.Recently led the design and build of a high-profile DHS Enterprise NPE PKI system that will be used to issue department-wide device certificates. The system uses PrimeKey EJBCA Enterprise Edition and runs on AWS GovCloud with high availability (HA) and multi-AZ multi-region configuration. Directly involving in Certificate Authority multi-tier hierarchy design, Certificate Policy (CP) and Practice Statement (CPS) documentation, PKI system deployment via Dev/Sec/Ops automation process using Ansible Playbooks, Online/offline Key Generation Ceremony (KGC), and PKI Operations and Maintenance (O&M).Providing senior-level consulting for DHS on the implementation of security infrastructures and ICAM services to meet new ICAM guidelines from OMB M-19-17, NIST SP 800-63-3, and FISMA requirements.Assisting in finding the solution of using PKI technology for authentication, encryption, and digital signing and resolving PKI issues and challenges that people are experiencing in daily basis.DHS Enterprise Non-Person Entity (NPE) PKI system
