Piping Technician
Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Technician to support the assembly, insulation, piping, and heater/fluid routing operations for our energy systems. This role is critical in ensuring the safe and efficient installation and maintenance of thermal and fluid systems used in energy production and distribution.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical and fluid system components according to engineering drawings and specifications.Install and insulate piping systems, including thermal insulation for high-temperature applications.Route and secure heaters and fluid lines, ensuring proper flow and thermal management.Perform quality checks and troubleshoot issues during and after installation.Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure project timelines and safety standards are met.Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.1–3 years of experience in mechanical assembly, piping, or industrial insulation preferred.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Familiarity with hand and power tools, and safety procedures in an industrial setting.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CAD, heater routing, and fluid routing is advantageous.Must be skilled in insulation, piping, and fixture assembly.Work Environment

This position involves working onsite and in the field. Technicians should be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various physical positions such as standing, bending, and kneeling. The work can take place in both indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes in elevated or confined spaces. Join a team dedicated to manufacturing a one-of-a-kind solar energy system.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
