Role Overview

Operational Strategy Development: Contribute to the formulation and execution of operational strategies for pipeline systems. Pipeline Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of pipelines, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Pigging Operations: Manage and execute pigging activities to maintain pipeline integrity. Energy Isolation Procedures: Implement energy isolation protocols to ensure safety during maintenance activities. Pipeline Commissioning & Decommissioning: Facilitate the commissioning and decommissioning processes of pipeline systems. Cathodic Protection Implementation: Ensure effective cathodic protection measures are in place to prevent corrosion. DOT Compliance: Adhere to Department of Transportation regulations and complete Operator Qualification Tasks (OQ). Vendor Relations: Manage facility operations related to selling oil to third-party vendors.

Skills & Qualifications

Operational Strategy: Strong understanding of operational strategies related to pipeline systems. Pipeline Expertise: In-depth knowledge of pipeline operations, including LP Gas, HP Gas, Oil, and Condensate. Pigging Knowledge: Familiarity with pigging operations and their importance in pipeline maintenance. Energy Isolation Skills: Proficient in implementing energy isolation procedures. Commissioning & Decommissioning: Experience in pipeline commissioning and decommissioning processes. Cathodic Protection: Knowledge of cathodic protection techniques and their application. Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting.

Education & Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred. Certifications: Relevant certifications in Pipeline Operations or Safety Management are advantageous. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in pipeline operations or related fields.
