Wood is currently recruiting for a Pipeline Integrity Engineer with a background in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering to join our Integrity Assets Consultancy team as part of our Digital Consulting business unit on a long-term contract basis.

Due to continual growth, we are open to applications from across the UK to be based at any of our main offices in particular – Aberdeen, Glasgow, Galway or Staines on a hybrid working basis with fully remote working to be considered.

The Role

Our Integrity Assets Consultancy team are a leading provider of integrity management and specialist services, with unrivalled expertise across our Asset Lifecycle Optimisation division. Our engineers are highly skilled, solutions driven individuals who support our clients across conventional energy to ensure Energy Security and play a key role in maximising the uptime, reliability, and maintenance performance of our customers assets. 

Due to significant growth plans for our consulting business, we are seeking to enhance our Integrity Assets team with Mechanical or Petroleum Engineers who have a keen interest in solving complex technical challenges for our clients, the ability to support in delivering the right solutions using a consultative approach while demonstrating versatility.  

You will join a multi-disciplinary team of highly capable experts, Consultants and Engineers to deliver best in class solutions that will ensure high customer satisfaction. This will lead to career advancement opportunities across Wood.  Through this you will support your own personal growth and that of our Consulting business as we deliver solutions that will transform the world.

Our Asset Lifecycle Optimisation business unit provides Integrity Management Services, Structural Integrity Engineering, Computational Analysis and Rotating and Reciprocating Equipment Control to our clients. We support our clients across conventional energy to ensure Energy Security and play a key role in decarbonising assets. We also work closely with client across the Energy Transition sector supporting projects across Hydrogen transportation and production, and Carbon Capture, Storage and Utilisation (CCUS).
