Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Pipefitters for projects located in and around Maryville, TN. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Cut, thread, groove, and weld pipe to specifications using hand and power tools
Install and repair piping systems made from carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials
Lay out and assemble pipe systems, supports, and related equipment
Test piping systems for leaks using appropriate testing methods
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of Pipefitting experience
Proficient with hand tools, torches, and pipe threading/grooving equipment
Comfortable working from heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions
Must have own basic tools and PPE
Reliable transportation and ability to work 40+ hours per week
OSHA 10 or 30 certification; TI does offer course to qualified employees who have yet to obtain the certification
Experience with TIG or stick welding is a plus
