Archer Western Construction is currently seeking a Pipefitter for the San Juan Lateral Water Treatment Plant, in Shiprock, New Mexico.

The Pipefitter will assemble, install, and replace pipe systems and related portions including metal, plastic, ceramic and composition; install plumbing fixtures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assembles, and installs piping and tubing systems that are to conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structuresInstalls vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachmentHandles and moves materials and equipment to be used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters

QUALIFICATIONS

3-5 Years Verifiable Experience PreferredExperience in working with piping systems and fixtures; adequate knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for use of tools and machineryMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditionsRequires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properlyPossess a strong work ethic and desire to learnRequires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periodsMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

El Instalador de Tuberías ensamblará, instalará y reemplazará los sistemas de tuberías y partes relacionadas, incluyendo metal, plástico, cerámica y composición; Instale accesorios de plomería.

RESPONSABILIDADES

Ensambla e instala sistemas de tuberías que conducen agua, vapor, aire y otros fluidos, sólidos o gases dentro y alrededor de edificios y estructurasInstala sistemas de tuberías de vacío, líneas de drenaje y alcantarillado (laterales) desde los edificios hasta el punto de fijaciónMueve materiales y equipos para ser utilizados por fontaneros, instaladores de tuberías y instaladores de vaporizador.

CALIFICACIONES

3-5 años de experiencia verificable preferidaExperiencia trabajando con sistemas de tuberías y accesorios; Conocimiento adecuado de longitudes y medidas de construcción para el uso de herramientas y maquinariaSe requiere estar estar de pie, agachado, arrodillado o sentado durante largos períodosdebe poder levantar hasta 50 libras; puede ser requerido para trabajar en varias condiciones climáticasRequiere la capacidad de cumplir con todas las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad; comunicarse efectivamente con compañeros de trabajo y supervisores para asegurar que los proyectos se completen adecuadamentePoseer una fuerte ética de trabajo y ganas de aprenderDebe poder pasar una prueda de consumo de drogas previa al empleo
