Pilot Plant Technician - Interviews Happening This Week Location: Bridgewater, NJ Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6am–4pm (10-hour shifts) + occasional Fridays/Saturdays (rotating) One of our top clients is seeking a Pilot Plant Technician to join our dynamic team dedicated to advancing therapeutic nutrition. This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on in a pilot plant environment, supporting innovative product development and contributing to meaningful health solutions. About the Role As a Pilot Plant Technician, you’ll be an integral part of our manufacturing and R&D operations. You’ll work closely with scientists to prepare, process, and package trial batches, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hygiene and safety standards. Key Responsibilities + Prepare, weigh, mix, and homogenize batches according to protocols + Operate pilot plant equipment, including aseptic fillers + Conduct sample testing and documentation + Thermally process and package trial products + Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of equipment and workspace + Collaborate with R&D teams to support trial accuracy and execution Must-Have Skills & Experience + Sample preparation (food, biological, or chemical) + Hygiene training and familiarity with SOPs + Experience testing and weighing samples + Handling small-scale processing equipment + High school diploma required; Bachelor’s in Food Science or related field preferred + 5+ years in food manufacturing, GMP, or pilot plant environment + Proficiency in Microsoft Office + Willingness to travel overnight for training during the first 6 months Nice-to-Haves + Culinary or food technology education + Experience conducting trials or experiments + Ability to follow detailed protocols + Strong teamwork, adaptability, and integrity + Passion for innovation and improving health through nutrition Work Environment + 40 hours/week, 4-day schedule (Mon–Thurs) + Standard hours: 6am–4pm with breaks + Flexibility required for occasional Fridays/Saturdays (rotating) Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $85000.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
