Job Title: Pilot Plant Technician
Job Description

Join our team as a Pilot Plant Technician, where you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process of our pilot site. You will work closely with R&D scientists to ensure the accuracy of trial products while handling various aspects of sample preparation, hygiene, and equipment operation.

ResponsibilitiesMeasure, mix, adjust, and homogenize batches.Operate all Pilot Plant process equipment, including aseptic fillers.Document and manage trial records.Thermally process and package batches.Essential SkillsMinimum of five years of experience in a food, GMP manufacturing, or pilot plant environment.Experience with liquid aseptic and filling processes.Understanding of process control systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or a scientific discipline preferred.Experience conducting experimental or operational tasks in a food environment.Basic education in culinary or food technology.Ability to prepare and weigh materials according to protocol.Experience in cleaning and preparing basic small processing equipment.Work Environment

Work in an innovative setting focused on integrating nutrition into health management. The position involves a standard workweek of 40 hours, from Monday to Thursday (10-hour shifts), with flexibility required on Fridays and Saturdays, including a rotating Saturday shift once a month. Work hours are from 6 am to 4 pm, with a 30-minute lunch and breaks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
