The Piling team plays a crucial role in ensuring the stability, safety and durability of our projects by creating strong and reliable foundations before the structural works begin.

Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity 

As Piling Supervisor, you will be responsible for the management, supervision and leadership of the project crew(s) carrying out the piling works. You will be involved in the planning, organising and coordination of plant and human resource, ensuring all work is completed to on-time and to contract specification.

This role would suit someone who enjoys leading from the front, working “hands-on” with you team to complete physical works while motivating, developing and enhancing team capability. 

We are open to applications from anywhere in New Zealand however this role does require frequent travel therefore the flexibility to work and stay away from home is required. 

 

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

Experience in operating cranes and drill rigsBored and driven piling experience (at least 5 years)Demonstrated leadership and motivation skills to lead teams safely and productivelyThe ability to drive projects, managing relationships and activity to achieve targets (deadlines, costing, resourcing etc.)Full Class 1 Driver LicenceStrong communication skills including willingness to participate in business improvement, training and mentoring.Safety first approach, ability to promote, lead and cultivate a Zero Harm culture
