**Location** SD, Rapid City **Specialty** Internal Medicine - Hospitalist **Visas Accepted** N/A **Practice Details** Black Hills Surgical Hospital is seeking BE/BC Internal Medicine trained Hospitalist to the practice in Rapid City, SD. * Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm * Patient Care: o Diagnosing, treating, and providing continuous care to inpatients. o Optimize patients in our pre-surgical History and Physical Clinic. * Care Coordination: Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and specialists, to ensure a comprehensive plan of care. * Medical Procedures: Ordering and interpreting tests, such as lab work and x-rays, and performing medical procedures. * Medication Management: Prescribing and managing medications for inpatients. * Communication: Communicating with patients and their families about their care and condition. * Discharge Planning: Coordinating discharge planning and ensuring a safe transition for patients returning home. * Collaboration: Working closely with other physicians, nurses, and staff to provide optimal patient care **Compensation Package** We offer a nationally competitive compensation plan and retention incentive, with an additional benefits package including a health, dental and vision insurance, 401K plan, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, CME allowance, paid time away, malpractice insurance and tail coverage, and a relocation allowance. **About this Community** For nearly 25 years, Black Hills Surgical Hospital has been helping improve the quality of life of people in our region by providing exceptional care and superior service.
