Schedule is 12 hours shifts of both 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. Approximately 14 shifts a month, this is not a standard 7 on 7 off role. The scope of patients on the Hospitalist Service is broad ranging and includes medical consultation for surgical and non-surgical subspecialty patients with an average daily census of 8-10 patients.
