_JOB OPPORTUNITY: Physician (Hematology and Medical Oncology)_ Hartford HealthCare Medical Group, Inc. seeks a full-time Hematology and Medical Oncology Physician to: Diagnose and evaluate adult hematology and medical oncology patients; plan and implement patient treatment programs; lead treatment teams in managing diseases; participate in the specialized Disease Management Team's quality, education, and research activities and enroll patients in research studies; participate in education programs for residents-in-training, medical students, advanced practitioners, nursing, and others; and participate in utilization reviews, quality assurance reviews, and other Medical Group physician activities and programs. Will take call coverage for patients proportionate to other similarly situated physicians. Will work at Hartford HealthCare Medical Group's office at 183 N. Mountain Road, New Britain, CT 06053 and at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, 100 Grand Street, New Britain, CT 06052. The minimum requirements for this position are: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), or the foreign equivalent; completion of a U.S. medical residency program in Internal Medicine and a U.S. medical fellowship program in Hematology and Medical Oncology; board eligibility or certification in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology; and the possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Connecticut medical license.
