**Position Description:**
Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Physicians Infectious Diseases is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team. Our team of 6 Physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers work closely together to provide expert diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with acute and chronic diseases such as MRSA, HIV, Tuberculosis, and more. Our providers manage outpatient IV antibiotic therapy on a routine basis, along with providing supportive treatment advice to other LGHP providers via e-consults on a daily basis. Our office also offers pre-travel counselling and vaccines.
This position is located at Suburban Outpatient Pavilion. Patients are seen in outpatient office setting or in conjunction with the Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Hyperbarics and Wounds Care Center. This position is primarily outpatient with the option to rotate into the hospital setting for patient rounding and to complete new consults.
**Hours:** Full-time primarily 8:00am-5:00pm. No evenings, weekends, or on-call.
**Minimum Requirements:**
**Nurse Practitioner**
+ Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license and Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania
+ Certification by ANCC or other qualifying agency in area of specialty required (Acute Care NP certification required, if working in hospital setting)
+ Valid Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse
**Physician Assistant**
+ Current licensure as a Physician Assistant by PA Board of Medicine
+ Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant training program
