member of the Cardiac Surgery team the APP will deliver expert compassionate care to patients in our bed Cardiac Surgery intensive care unit ICU step down unit and floor settings Responsibilities includemiddotManaged preoperative and postoperative care for cardiac surgery patientsmiddotPerform bedside procedures including central venousand arterial line placement intra aortic balloon pump removal etc middotProvide care for patients undergoing advanced procedures including heart transplants ECMO Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation mechanical circulatory support and transcatheter aortic valve replacement TAVRmiddotConduct thorough patient assessments developing individualized care plans and closely monitoring progressmiddotCollaborate with the multidisciplinary team fostering a culture of teamwork and concise communication to ensure optimal patient outcomesmiddotSupport seamless transitions of care between the ICU step down and floor settingsmiddotProvide patient and family
